A Painting Workshop Retreat in the Le Marche Region of Italy

This artists’ workshop and retreat is for painters of all levels and styles, both abstract or representational. The primary focus will be on color theory and mixing as we first have in-depth lessons and then go out into the landscape to capture colors in the surrounding area at various times of day. We will then come back into the studio to implement that palette in the style of our own work. Includes demos and discussions, lots of personalized feedback and plenty of time for Q&A.

HELEN DANNELLY
Helen is a professional artist, educator, and curator living in Chicago. Originally from the California Bay Area, she is Co-Founder of Catalyst Art Lab, an online artists’ membership community and art school where she teaches painting, sculpture, and in-depth color theory courses. She has exhibited at galleries throughout the United States and Europe and currently has work at Alma Art and Interiors in Chicago. She is curator of the Forshey Gallery in the Chicago Loop.
