Intro to 3-D Encaustic Workshop
    October 21 - 22, 10 am - 4 pm
    $325 + $35 materials fee
    Chicago artists Helen Dannelly and Alicia Forestall-Boehm co-teach this class which explores basic structural techniques for creating three-dimensional forms and using encaustic medium. Materials include wire and wire mesh, bamboo, plaster gauze, and fiber. We will discuss line, mass, scale, weight and display considerations. There will be a powerpoint presentation of artists working three dimensionally with encaustic and a discussion of participants unique creative voice. Dare to move off the panel!
    Space is limited and the workshop registration is already happening! To reserve your spot, it's a 50% deposit of $162.50 ( fully refundable up until one month prior to class).     Open Studios are held every third Friday at the Bridgeport Art Center. Please use the Racine Street entrance as that elevator comes closer to our side of the building on the third floor. Walk through both galleries to studio 3A-3120. We'd love to have you stop by for a beverage and conversation!
